The Lasala Plaza Hotel was a perfect spot for our stay in San Sebastian! We selected a courtyard view room (it was described as city view), which was spacious and comfortable. The pool was closed when we were there but the roof deck offered a lovely spot to enjoy a glass of wine from the 1st floor bar or pastries in the morning. Spent 4 nights here in mid October2025, for our first "adults only" trip in years. It is a wonderful hotel. It is luxury without being gaudy, has possibly the best location in town- with views of the water and the harbor out the front (including a nice first floor bar to enjoy the views) and the old town out the back. My husband and I stayed at Lasala Plaza during our honeymoon and it was a lovely experience. We were greeted with a welcome drink and some almond cookies upon arrival, along with a handwritten note congratulating us. Our corner room had views of both the plaza and the ocean, with double doors opening directly over the plaza. The room was bright, airy, and spacious, and felt modern and comfortable.

We chose to use the valet parking over self-parking because we assumed it would be safer for our rental car. We left two small suitcases in the car under a hidden cover with tinted windows. When the car was returned to us at check-out, our bags had been opened, emptied, the seams cut open, and all of our things thrown all over the car.
