The best hotel in San Sebastián

As a group of 6 friends we stayed at this hotel at the start of October. It was unanimously the best hotel any of us had stayed at in San Sebastián - indeed in Spain.
The location was spectacular.
The rooms were big spacious and immaculately clean throughout our 4 day stay. Loved the showers and made good use of a very well stocked mini bar!

The hotel was charming, in a great walkable location and the service was superb. I can't wait to go back. It even has a rooftop pool to relax at after a long day of eating....

There are so many lovely things about this hotel but also some bits that let it down as well.
First off its easy to find, we arrived at the busstation and the walk was 15/20mins. Wed booked via our travel agents for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We arrived late in the evening around 9.30/10pm and check in took so long. Unnecessarily long it felt. We were told the booking was without breakfast, we had from the ...

What an amazing hotel!
FIrst of all fantastic parking facilities! The reception area which has retained the old convent design is beautiful. The hotel is beautifully decorated and so clean. Our room was bright and vibrant with top quality decor and facilities, especially the bathroom! The rooftop pool and sun level is a really nice extra after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is in a decent location, and the staff was very friendly, warm and attentive, especially Elba and Alejandra ! The accommodations, the pool and the breakfast were quite disappointing given the $619/night rate we paid! Rooms are small and stuffy. Pool looks more like a bathtub than a pool. The breakfast was underwhelming! The amenities werent very appealing. This hotel should not be more than $300/night!...
