It is not our first time at the Excelsior and certainly not the last, perfect service , wonderful breakfast and best location . The hotel is not new but wel kept.
As for dinner I recommend to reserve a table at restaurant Clochard (adjacent to the hotel)one of the best in town....

This hotel is special, from the moment we arrived in our taxi from the airport it was clear we were welcome! The hotel couldnt do enough for us. We had coffee on arrival and macrons and a welcome note in our room. Every night they delivered chocolates and a bedtime story to the room, which we thought was really cute, the room its self was light and spacious, the balcony overlooked a shopping street close to Aristot...

My wife and I visited Thessaloniki this week, me for the first time.
After much research online I chose the Excelsior Hotel. I'm sure there are many wonderful hotels in Thessaloniki but after our stay here I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

I loved Excelsior and would recommend it to anyone looking for a charming luxury hotel at the heart of Thessaloniki. Hotel staff is very kind and attentive to all the details that count. Rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished. Breakfast is heaven! You will love it....

An absolutely stunning hotel. The room was elegantly furnished with a gorgeous marble bathroom. The daily breakfast offered a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Conveniently located, it was just a short walk to Electra Palace, where our conference was held. I would definitely choose to stay here again for both business and leisure....
