Staff very friendly & professional. Big breakfast. May be the area is very noisy during the week-end due to the cafés close to the corner and the room was not enough isolated , but i always bring ear plugs when travelling. Bed was smooth and i slept well. Room was clean. There is a room service....

One of the nicest experiences I have had as a longtime traveler. This hotel is beautiful and well located. The rooms are very well designed and comfortable. My room had a small balcony, which was lovely to step out onto. The Breakfast is excellent. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. This is my fourth time staying at this hotel, and this time it was terrible. There was a water outage for more than 12 hours, and they dont even have a water tankhow does this place have a five-star rating? Every time I come, I notice the food and service quality declining even more. At breakfast, it took 45 minutes just to get a simple sausage. It is not the first time we choose Excelsior and as before, we were delighted about room, cleaning, helpfull staff, very good breakfast and location.
The hotel provide also valet parking which is a plus....

The second time that we have stayed at this hotel. It is comfortable, in a good location for restaurants and for walking by the sea. The staff are very helpful and professional and will arrange car parking on request (not easy to park in Thessaloniki!)....
