You can't review Eastern European hotel rooms with the same eye you might use when reviewing a Western hotel. They are different. The staff here was accommodating; the General Manager was very helpful. It was clean and welcoming. It had a nice outdoor courtyard to use. The room was very tiny. The AC does not meet western standards, so I opened my windows a lot. There is no parking - you will have to be dropped off. T...

Sar Otel - A pleasant stay in the centre of Tirana.

I have recently returned from a hiking trip to the Northern Albanian Alps. A wonderful experience.
On my return I spent time in Tirana, staying at the Sar Otel hotel. This hotel is in a cosy and central position close to Skanderbeg Square.
The hotel is well managed and offers a quiet ambiance despite being in the city centre. The staff were helpful and attentive. The hotel stay was, in my opinion, good value.

Awesome hotel within walking distance of Skanderbeg Square, BunkArt 2 and numerous restaurants and pubs. SarOtel is very clean and inviting. The hotel has a bar and courtyard in back which makes a nice oasis from the hustle and bustle of Tirana. Hotel is very environmentally friendly. The thing that made our stay remarkable is the staff. We had a wonderful stay at Sar'Otel Boutique Hotel and cant recommend it highly enough. A special mention must go to Valbona on receptionshe is, without doubt, the most friendly and helpful receptionist I have encountered, and Ive stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years. Great little hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I left something in the room when i left and the staff went above and beyond to get it back to me.
