Lovely location right on the doorstep of St Marks Square. The staff were all superb and very friendly. The only disappointment was that nobody informed us that the Basilica is free entry on Liberation Day, we thought it was fully booked (it wasnt as there are no bookings that day.

Our two rooms were dark and noisy. Not sure where the pictures on the site are from but it was not our experience. This is an average hotel at best, by no means a 4.5 star experience. Yes, its age can be charming, but it is in need of some major updates/upgrades to be considered a 4+ hotel. I felt like I was staying on a mediocre cruise ship....

Stayed at Hotel Concordia when in Venice at the end of April and 1st part of May. The staff was excellent, service was excellent. The room was fantastic. I really can't say enough about this hotel. WouI'd definitely stay again when in Venice....

Stay away from this hotel. Total disregard for their guests. Very little sleep from excessive noise from bar below and no action from management. Only interested in your money....

If you value rest, hospitality, or functional amenities, this is not the place for you. The noise from the bar directly below is relentless, vibrating through the floorboards all day and night. To make matters worse, the AC was completely broken, leaving the room sweltering and smelling like stale cigarette smoke.
The only "perk" is for those who plan on getting so drunk they cant walk more than ten feet without fal...
