Location is perfect! Welcoming staff at reception desk-answered all our questions. Room was as described, clean and comfortable. There was a small present - chocolates and a bottle of champagne - Thanks! We enjoyed staying in the garden and the rooftop terrace....

A wonderful long weekend in fantastic hotel

Wonderful location, very close to Piazza San Marco with a beatiful imbarcadero to reach the hotel from the water. We had a wonderful big room with a rooftop altana with a super view of the San Marco tower bell. The hotel is very clean and the staff extremely polite. The bar service is super and the barman very kind and expert. The garden overlooking th ecanal is an hidden gem. A place to return whenever possible....

This was our 5th visit to Venezia,, but the first time stay at this hotel.
In past, we, a family from Tokyo, used to stay at 5 star hotels, but due to high price inflation and cheap Japanese yen currency evaluation (nearly 80% down), we selected, thanks to Trip Advisor reviews, Dona Palace , a 4 star hotel.
We found this hotel, after staying 4 nights, VERY good.

A gorgeous boutique hotel, very centrally located, just behind San Marco square. Our rooms were nicely decorated, amenities were plentiful and the staff is very friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place....
