Bad hotel on the canal

AVOID this Venice hotel. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon in 90 degree heat to find the air conditioning in our room did not work. Between the afternoon and late evening we reported this to the front desk three times to be told that it would be fixed. Not only was it NEVER FIXED no one even went to our room to explore the problem. The front desk and the manager were most unresponsive and took an "I don't ...

Really nice hotel the location brilliant, has its own roof bar.. Prices are not reasonable but guess your paying for the view. Only let down about this hotel was 2 of the staff the manager on the desk Christopher he just likes to look good, asked for help you get snappy answers back wasn't welcoming at all! In fact it felt like we was a burden to him. The lady who works in the bar never smiles she really doesn't want...

A Luxurious Stay - Off the Grand Canal - Spectacular Views

We had a wonderful four night stay at Canova this past winter. The hotel is situated right on the Grand Canal (water/cana)l with picturesque and panoramic views of the city on street level, and on their rooftop restaurant (La Terrazza Bar). The Rialto Bridge is just a few meters away.
The hotel is adjacent to the iconic cafes and restaurants that line the water. The location is super convenient to everything.

This was a beautiful hotel right on the grand Canal. the rooms were expensive but worth it as we got a Jr suite right on the canal (me, my husband, and son). I waited 50 years to go to Venice so to me it was worth it. The staff were great. They helped us arrange a private water taxi straight from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the train station as well as gave us recommendations for restaurants. ...
