Recently stayed here.
Excellent location with lots of eateries nearby.
Overall very clean. Bed was comfortable, pillows adequate.
Breakfast was also adequate but I have to say, for us,the worst coffee we have been served in 40 years.
Our only problem was, when we arrived back at the hotel at about 9pm one evening, there was no reception staff present but our key, along with the keys for room no.s 126 and 153 were sit...

Centrally located, down a quiet lane. Clean room, traditionally decorated. Staff running the breakfasts were very nice and welcoming. Good value rooms for Venice. Stairs and no lift so not suitable for anyone with access issues. Good coffee with the breakfast....

Great boutique style hotel

Very nice boutique style hotel, awesome location in Venice. Stayed 4 nights late June 2025. Not sure what the main TripAdvisor picture is of, as Hotel Castello is NOT on the water. AC worked marvelously. No elevator, but that wasn't a problem for us....

Cute Venice Hotel

Cute Italian boutique style hotel. Very much suits Venice. Staff were friendly too!
Although the room was hotter than the sun when we arrived (the heating was on full blast) after opening the windows for a while it was a pleasant stay.
I will note that there was only one plug socket in the main bedroom, although I have noticed this all over Italy now....

Honestly, after reading all of these reviews and being a little squeamish about hotels, I was very nervous for our stay but we were VERY pleasantly surprised. We stayed in room 105 and it was perfect for what we needed, the air conditioning was some of the best of all our stays in Italy, the location was central, the bed was comfortable and clean and the bathroom did the trick!
