We were on a tour so the hotel was specified for us, not that Im complaining.
Hotel Indigo Venice Sant Elena was a very decent offering, a short boat ride away from the Venetian mainland, which is where youll arrive by land, and St Marks Square where all the action is.

We are regulars at Hotel Indigo around the World. This was not up to their usual standard.
1. Welcome was poor. Reception staff at check in ignored us for a minute as were busy talking to each other.
2, Room was ready early which was welcome
3. Room was dark with poor lighting. Four downlighters and a couple of wall lights that made it very gloomy.
4. No coffee machine, just cheap instant sachets. Quite a shock ...

My wife and I had an idyllic, relaxing stay at Hotel Indigo in Venice. We stayed at this location in 2014 when the establishment operated under another name. We found this stay to be as memorable as last time and look forward to returning for all the right reasons (not necessarily in this order): 1) The location in Sant Elena is off the beaten path, so guests escape the crowds and noise of the more touristy areas. ...

Gem in the woods

A gem in a lovely secluded park away from the hustle and bustle of Venice, but within a scenic short walk and water bus etc a very short walk away, in a safe quiet area.
We were met with very friendly Informative receptionist and bags brought to our room.
The rooms are smallish but spotless with almost everything you need except a hairdryer.

What a lovely hotel, easy to find, beautiful inside, delicious breakfast, lovely garden, great bed, lovely gardens, great shower.
Nothing to grumble about, would return here again.
Also shout out to to the lovely lady at breakfast, sorry didnt get your name, lovely dark shiny hair and always smiling and nothing too much trouble....
