Do NOT accept rooms 39/40.
Unfortunately this hotel is renting out the top floor, attic rooms.
I suspect many of the other rooms in the hotel are probably decent but they forced us into an attic room that was buggy, and had a skylight that and we suspect let in heat/mosquitos.
The ceilings were about 4ft high in many areas of the room resulting in a few bumped heads.

Only 5 mins flat walk from train station beats dragging luggages through cobble stones and heaving though venice many bridges.

This hotel is a flat approx 400m walk from the main train station in Venice. You come out of the station, turn left walk along the Rio Tera Lista di Spagna, turn left into Calle de la Misericordia and it's on the first corner you come to. Stayed here one night travellng from Rome to Vienna ( great trip, nothng beats the train ) Didnt really know what to expect but this wasnt it. Honestly it was just WOW .
