Stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a bit basic, but clean and the staff are lovely. The breakfast was fine for the money. Everything is a bit outdated feeling but that fits perfectly with the Venice feel, and we have no complaints. The main reason for staying there is its location. We stayed at the Kette two years ago and had a great experience. The room was beautiful and clean and the breakfasts were excellent. This visit we had three rooms for three nights. We were on the first floor and the rooms smelled horrible. The carpet was stained and there was mold in the wall. The smell was so bad we had to change room the next morning. The breakfasts were dismal. Few selections and very basic. Not ...

Great location in Venice with their own dock for water taxi to dock so we didnt have to haul suitcases down streets. Nice view from room to narrow canal below. Staff was very helpful, even escorting us to a nearby restaurant and another dock we needed to find. Not far from St. Marks Square but not in the thick of things there, Room was comfortable....

Warm welcome on arrival, disappointed by room it was dark and curtains closed due to it looking out on service area. Which was very noisy in the storms, rain on metal! Bathroom was nice but small, shower was good. Breakfast staff were excellent & attentive, food was nice, bar was closed for some reason that was not communicated to us, reception staff helpful and friendly, arranged water taxi to station for us! A charming hotel in a great location

A beautiful old hotel in a great location, a short walk to the square. The rooms are tiny but very cute and the bathrooms were a good size. We had 2 rooms, one was a corner room and had a view up a small street which was nice.
The staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was really good with great service.
I cant comment on the price as it was booked for us as part of a package tour....
