Not the luxurious spacious place we expected

Paid over £600 for our room for two nights as we wanted a balcony and a view. The room was TINY so was the bathroom. No wardrobe. No drawers. No storage at all.
The radiator in the bathroom was not working on our first day. We reported it three times and it never got fixed so we had to shower in an icy cold bathroom. Not good...

Amazing Pure Venetian Experience!

This is the only place I will ever stay in Venice! This hotel staff is so helpful and always happy to please. The rooms are amazingly authentic with Venetian glass sconces, Italiac painted walls, and golden shelves and headboard. I absolutely love this more Venetian experience! After travelling the world, its always hard to keep impressing my partner when we planned our trip to Venice, I couldnt imagine anywhere better for the amazing wow factor this place gave us!
Stepping off the water taxi from the airport on the just past the Rialto Bridge on the opposite side of the Grand Canal, we could scarcely believer our luck with Hotel Marconi tucked away in full view on the opposite bank.

This hotel offers an authentically Venetian experience, with a charmingly traditional atmosphere. The interior has a vintage, almost antique character, which we found both distinctive and appealing. Despite its historic feel, the property was impeccably clean and well maintained, making it ideal for our short stay.

Hotel Marconi experience!

We stayed for 2 nights and it was a sorry experience.
It's a pretty ordinary hotel and doesn't deserve more than a single star to be fair.
The hotel lobby stinks. Even a passage from a lobby to the room on the 2nd floor was horrible and you would better wear a mask. You can feel that they have strayed a room freshener or a spray to suppress a bad smell.
