Excellent Stay at the Accademia!

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at the Accademia! The location is perfect for exploring Verona on foot. The hotel is right in the middle of the "action" yet delightfully quiet. The front desk team was so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They called taxis, gave directions, made restaurant reservations for us. The two women who were there during the day were especially efficient.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at this lovely hotel. Its a great location right in the centre. Special thanks to the front desk who helped us with restaurant bookings and the concierge who accompanied my husband to the carpark, to assist with parking the car.
My only concern was that our breakfasts were spoiled by people having their telephones on speaker phone and taking loud, lengthy calls. Is this acceptable? I don...

Lovely hotel in the heart of the old city

This is a great hotel in the heart of the pedestrianised Old city, easily walkable to everything. Its a 25 minute walk from the train station.
The receptionists were lovely and let me check in an hour early. Room had lovely furnishings with a window overlooking the courtyard. There was a fridge, minibar, kettle, safe and a very comfortable bed. TV had lots of intl channels but kept defaulting to the hotel channel...

I looked at a couple of hotels in the same area as Hotel Accademia and chose this hotel on previous reviews. As we were arriving into Verona around 12pm and was leaving early the next morning the hotel's location was important. very well appointed hotel and rooms. we stayed in a triple room. very comfortable. staff was always welcoming. about a 10 min taxi ride from train station. wont suggest walking from train station with luggage.
