The best breakfast

Stayed here with my Husband from 8th-15th October.
I get what some say about the quirks of the hotel. Eg occasional noisy taps, old fashioned decor etc.
However, it was perfectly clean and excellent for reaching the train station in 5 mins.
You are also a pleasant 15 minutes walk from the Arena.
Now for the breakfast and the reason it gets 5*
It was superb!! Everything you could want was available.

Very close to Train station and a good 20 minute walk to the arena.
The hotel itself needs renovating. The room was big but headboard on bed in poor condition. The mattress was as hard as the floor so I found it next to impossible to sleep. The room was quite cold and the noise was very loud . Everytime you turned the taps on in bathroom they made a loud noise and the bathroom door squeaked when you opened and close...

a little out of the central location but walkable to the arena, shops, cafes .

Nice hotel, clean, and close to train. We walked to train with our luggage, no problem. We took the train to Sirmione, and other day trips, also trained to Dolimites after staying in Verona. The main city area is only a flat 15 min walk. So we liked the location. The breakfast was awesome! So many tables of food, and you can order special coffee which was included!...

I noticed that the hotel has not made any improvements after many reviews on the conditions of their rooms. Sorry I have to raise these issues again to warn those who may want to book with them.
First off, the hotel looks nice from the outside. But inside the room it is a different story. There was no coffee, tea, kettle, complementary water bottles, nothing! The bathroom smelled old with mold and rust in the bathtu...
