A mixed experience lets get the bad out the way first:
The room wasnt ready at check-in time of 15:00 and I was just told to come back in 30-45 minutes. A simple we are sorry, please take a seat on our terrace and have a drink on the house while you wait would have been a much better option.

Beautiful hotel, choosen for it's great location and price.
The hotel is located on a busy road, with a small area to stop briefly so you can check in or out. The parking nearby was very expensive (40 per night), but there was a very good multistorey car park 10 minute tram ride away which was 4 a night. We had the obvious concerns about leaving our car here, but it was clear that many very nice cars from all ov...

Well, our 3rd stay here in 4 years. So convenient for Hietzing and the U4 Ubahn into Central Vienna.
Very spacious Room on the 3rd floor with Balcony and Walk In Shower.
At the back overlooking the gardens, so beautifully quiet.
Schloss Cafe is ideal for Coffees and light snacks.
We usually take Breakfast at Mario's (see separate review).
Housekeeping is not needed every day, but we only had 3 days out of 6

What a disgrace, reception staff may be lying

We've been here with a delegation of 14 people. The reception staff wanted our drivers to use the parking lots directly in front of the hotel for arrival/pick up/etc. They left the drivers under the impression that the parking area belongs to the hotel. After carrying the luggage and therefore leaving the car for ~3 minutes, the police presented us with a parking fine + AN ORDER FOR A TOW TRUCK!! We have not received...

I have stayed at Parkhotel Schönbrunn multiple times, both for family trips and business purposes. It is undeniably a hotel that reflects the aristocratic flair of Austria, with classic architecture and a refined ambiance.
