Great, besides the inconvenience of parking

I specifically looked for a hotel near the city center so that I wouldnt need a car to get around, and this hotel seemed like a great choice. I also filtered explicitly for a hotel with parking on Booking.com, and it showed that parking was available. However, when I arrived, I found out that the parking wasnt actually at the hotel itself. Worth staying here for live music with breakfast

Good location - a little out of the centre but a tram stop outside and a U-bahn nearby.
My single room was very small and basic but clean, as was the bathroom.
The staff were friendly, fluent in English and very helpful. Breakfasts were impressive, especially at the weekend when we were entertained by talented musicians in true Viennese style....

Slightly disappointing

Found I'd got a single bed, no bedside table, 2 thin pillows & 2 thin towels. The room was too hot but I was told the aircon was broken & 'couldn't be fixed.' If you want it cooler, 'Open the window.' Of the staff I met, only Nora could help with anything....

Good stay at a classic Viennese hotel

I stayed at Hotel Donauwalzer for a short break and had a really good experience overall. The building itself is beautiful and has a lot of character, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
