Fabulous Hotel in Magical Vienna.

Fabulous Hotel that we feel provides great value. We travelled Feb 2025 and stayed for 5 days, 4 nights. Now to be honest a couple of observations to get out of the way first. We stayed in room 405 which was both spacious and very nicely fitted out however bathroom could have done with a heater/radiator as we stayed in February so a bit chilly when you get out the shower but it is ensuite so we just left the door op...

When I entered my hotel room at the Donauwalzer I was immediately put at ease by the soothing classical music coming from the Teufel desk radio. Then my eye turned towards the small design elements reflecting Viennese culture. It was cheerful without being loud or intrusive (or tasteless). Great place for leisure travellers. Very convenient location for just about everything. Friendly, efficient check-in and checkout. Plentiful breakfast, with lots of choices and great food. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Sparsely appointed lobby that lacks atmosphere....

Had a great time location perfect very close to tram and train
Loved breakfast with live classical music
Staff very nice and friendly
Rooms clean and fit for purpose.
I think Vienna is a beautiful city to explore very walkable and this was a perfect stop to start from...
