Fantastic location, underground station very near the hotel, museums within walking distance. Lovely atmosphere very friendly efficient staff and great rooms spotlessly clean.
Really good breakfast and the hotel bar nice to relax after a day sightseeing....

My wife and I have been coming to this hotel every time we are in Vienna for the past 8 years. The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic, 5 minutes walk to the Volksgarten, Rathaus (city hall), and the Inner City. The hotel is really next to everything. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Josefshof am Rathaus and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna.
Location is absolutely fantastic. It sits in a great, central area that makes exploring local historic sites and transit is incredibly easy.
The entire property was exceptionally clean.

Perfect location. Right near the city center. There is a lovely private parking lot just outside the door. I don't usually give a hotel a score of 10, but this one is well worth it. The breakfast is very extensive. We had a minor issue with the heating in our room and were immediately assisted by the very friendly György, who promptly assigned us a different room. We enjoyed an excellent stay at the Hotel Josefshof am Rathaus for 5 nights in May.
Location- perfect for walking to the historical centre (15-20 mins leisurely stroll) and very quiet, especially of an evening. Area felt extremely safe to walk around and lots of lovely cafes/ restaurants nearby.
