Great hotel, but a bed and a mattress is a dealbeaker
Travelled on 06/2026
The hotel is beautiful, centrally located, and has great amenities. The staff is very attentive and very helpful. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because of very thin and very firm mattresses. All the good stuff: comfortable, quiet rooms with a nice bed, good AC, lovely bathroom, great staff, nice breakfast, location within a short walking distance to many of the major attractions in Vienna. Zillions of restaurants and shops around....

A lovely hotel.
Travelled on 05/2026
A lovely hotel, wonderfully sited, just 100 metres from Underground station and St Stephens Cathedral, yet still quiet.
Delightfully old-fashioned but that also means also staff on hand for whatever query you have, staff who are friendly and have the time to help you.
Will definitely stay here again!...

No negative points at all. Location is perfect for sightseeing, public transport (Vienna is a model of how an integrate...

Travelled on 02/2026
The Kaiserin Elizabeth is centrally located making most of Vienna's top attractions within walking distance. These include St. Stephen's Cathedral and Hotel Sacher, home of the famous Sacher chocolate cake. The Kaiserin Elizabeth has spacious rooms and is impeccably clean. The hotel
breakfast buffet is highly recommended. The hotel staff is friendly and knowledgeable. However, I must point out that the hotel, at...
