I had a single room (301). Simply the best! Cozy, perfectly cleaned, warm.
The breakfast is pretty poor but in Vienna you can just go and have tasty sandwiches all around!
Is perfectly located near Stephansdom, at the Steffl corner. It just became my favorite place in Vienna!...

HKE is a quaint and elegant hotel very centrally located to the main street of Vienna. It is a bit "dated" in that it has been there a long time but it is quite well appointed. We had a superior room which was very spacious. It had an entry room, a lounge/sitting room, large bedroom with a king-size bed and the bathroom had a large shower and separate bathtub. Fantastic Staff and Location

great location right in the heart of old town Vienna. You are within walking distance of many of the main sites and plenty of restaurants.
Also want to give a shout out to the staff who are fantastic. We had a booking issue with the wrong dates entered into the system and the courteous staff worked diligently to get our room situation worked out and did so very quickly.

Perfect location in District 1 of downtown

We only had a short visit, but enjoyed all of it. The hotel is well laid out, the rooms are large by European standards. The beds are comfortable and the rooms quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. It's located just around the corner from plenty of shops and restaurants; can't go wrong here....

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel combining the best of historic elegance and modern convenience. The location couldn't be better: steps from a subway stop in the historic pedestrian district. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed was a bit firm for my taste but my husband loved it.
