Great apart from lost property disappearing

We spent 3 nights here last weekend whilst in Vienna for a family wedding.
We arrived after 9pm and hadn't eaten, the receptionist was very helpful directing us to the service station across the road where we could get a snack.
The rooms were nice, a little noisy if you have your window open on at the front of the hotel, the back was quiet and peaceful. There are 3 working lifts, so good for accessability. They a...

Great location near the metro and a Spar, and the reception staff were very friendly. But thats about it. The lifts are painfully slow it took us over 15 minutes to get down from the 4th floor with bags. Housekeeping is poor, rooms barely cleaned in minutes, and bathroom amenities like shower gel were never refilled. Good only for the location, otherwise Id choose a different hotel next time....

Within a short period of one week we had two checking in this hotel at the end it was very unpleasant staying

Very rude and impolite person in the reception staff when we asked him to change our uncomfortable room and he he is really not deserve to be in reception of any hotel...

Pretty good value for money in Vienna.
Clean, decent beds to sleep in, close to the metro station.
Breakfast was also fine, keeping in mind this is a busy hotel delivering value for money.
I had to take a star off as the Hotel had no hot water in the entire hotel for a few hours one morning.
Staff was apologetic and handled the situation well.
Once that was sorted, all was OK....

Excellent stay and location

Check in was fast. The room was clean and large enough for 2, amenities include TV, safe box and minibar. Airconditioning was clogged with dust so didn't work well in the first night but soon in the morning the technician fixed it quickly. Water temperature in the shower was not always steady but the shifts were minor. Room attendants refreshed our room very nicely.
