Fantastic location, easy access to public transport. Very friendly staff.
The hotel decor is very traditional and could be modernised but I loved the vibe of it.
Would definitely return....

Great Location, But Poor Service Experience

The hotel is in a perfect location just a 6-minute walk from the train station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. However, the hotel staff were a real letdown.

My wife and I spent three nights in the Mercure Grand while visiting Vienna. From the very first we were impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. We arrived at midday about three hours before check in with the intention of just leaving our bags at reception but the lady checked and found our room was ready and gave us the keys.

We were in Vienna for a 4 day city break from London. The hotel is in a charmingly attractive passage called the sunnhof passage and has an old world charm! All of the staff were charming and very helpful.
The public areas are lined with dark wood that gives a very classy look.

We are a group of friends who stayed in Mercure hotel and i must say that we had a great time! The hotel staff are all friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet served warm and delicious food.
