Desperately needs updating.

Grand old building in great location but in desperate need of updating: e.g., no proprietary WiFi (really?!), no electrical outlets by bedside for iPhone/Ipad, antique hair dryer etc etc and the solemn presentation of one coupon for one complimentary coffee for a 4 night stay was derisory (dont bother! Fawlty Towers anyone?). Shame...

19th Century Gem Struggling to get to 20th Century

Much less the 21st. Only WiFi available was free connection available in any cafe. Slooooow and not secure. Hotel caters to business travelers so really dont understand. Bathroom carved out of a corner of the room, with an unlighted step up, to get to toilet you had to shimmy around a towel rack. That said, fantastic location, staff very accommodating....

We spent three nights at Hotel Regina. It was everything I wanted and more.
I went to Vienna because I wanted to feel like I was in an quiet place in the spring. I wanted to feel like I was in Vienna. Hotel Regina was perfect for that. When we got there it felt like we stepped back in time.

Good looking hotel, antique and traditional building. Hotel stay was good and the rooms looked really big because of the height of the room, probably as the buildings were built few centuries ago....

We stayed here for four nights over Easter. We needed two rooms as we are a family of five. The rooms were lovely, immaculately clean and one of our rooms was very spacious. Very quiet at night. The breakfast was typical of central Europe, which suits me perfectly, fruit, rolls and pastries. We didn't eat the cooked breakfast as it's not to our taste but there was plenty of other options.
