This is an eligant hotel located in the city center at walking distance to major attraction in viena. And surrounded by cafes and restorant. The hotel is well preserved with historic pictuers and atmosphere. The room are clean and well furnished.

Old Europe with modern conveniences, centrally located

This is an old Europe type of hotel with modern conveniences. When you're in the lobby, it feels like Vienna in the 1920s. The breakfast room offers everything and you can request special coffees at no extra charge. All the major sites are easily and quickly reached on foot which is the way you should experience Vienna. Very nice, well located older hotel. Outdoor seating for meals if desired on a lovely patio. Great location, walking distance to transportation, shoppng and the old town of Vienna. Rooms are nice and bright. Food was pretty good....

Great local staff and location, left covered in 'unknown' insect bites

Actually the staff were lovely and the location is great. I have issue with the management. I returned home from a three day business trip covered in insect bites (i also just saw a review from 2 days prior to my stay complaining of insect bites). I privately contacted the hotel and was communicative and polite. I understand that these things can happen but when i asked to at least be told what insects exactly were f...

Cheap, moldy, cigarette smells, poor WiFi connection.

We found this hotel from Expedia. The one positive thing I have to say that that they let us check in early. Between having a maid barge into our room, it smelling like cigarettes, and there being mold, I would NOT recommend. Spend your money elsewhere....
