A lovely place to stay. The staff is very friendly providing an excellent service. Spacious rooms and good location. I would recommend. We loved the salon and the cake at tea time....

Hotel Altstadt is a special hotel. Room was great and the service was excellent. Afternoon tea is a must. Had a great dinner each night of our stay within a couple of block of the hotel. Tram stop is close by....

This is an exceptional mid sized hotel. Many attractions are within walking distance and the district is interesting and well equipped with restaurants and cafes. There were many small things that made a cumulative difference that the hotel did. The two rooms for our stay were adjacent and all staff at all touch points were warm, welcoming and friendly. I'd describe this hotel as quirky and unexpected, yet charming. It has an unassuming facade and its metamorphosis from office building to hotel seemed a bit incomplete. (You navigate the common areas shared with other businesses.) Still, everything was lovely and the staff was very kind and accommodating so any oddities were more than made up for.
