Great clean hotel with very good front-end service. Underground parking for 9 / day was a plus. Half hr walk over the bridge into fabulous Porto, or the metro is right there. Slightly disappointed in the breakfast (10 ea). They stated there were gluten-free baked options, but gave only a rock-hard bun. And TBH, the coffee was almost undrinkable; the worst weve had in Europe (or anywhere). Very strange. Hotel room ...

First time to Porto and this place didn't disappoint! They allowed us to check in early. Small room but comfy beds, nice shower. We were on the second floor facing the street and could hear the trains go by. I loved the ability to open the window. There is, however, construction going on across the street and it's very loud. The reception people were so nice. They repeatedly gave me ice in a bucket to take to the roo...

Lovely clean hotel, Massive bed, Powerful shower, Very friendly and Helpful staff. Great breakfast choice. No hot foods, but no problem. 40m from metro stop and only 4 stops from Sao Bento in central Porto. We would definitely use this hotel again....

Ok hotel in a less than desirable location

We stayed in this hotel during our Exoticca tour for two nights and it was just average.
The biggest drawback is the location. It's not in Porto at all, but in neighboring Gaia to the south. As such, we weren't in walking distance of anything of importance. It was easy to walk down the hill to get to the Duoro river and to cross the bridge into Porto itself, but it was a schlep to get back up again. There was the n...

Small hotel near Porto, friendly staff. The room was clean but small. The elevator can only fit 2 people so we always had to wait for a while. Breakfast is subpar, lack of choices, no hot food. Location is good close to mall and 30 min walk to Porto....
