A very well appointed hotel, great location and exceptional value restaurant. Particularly notable were the excellent and friendly staff - especially in the restaurant. Would be hard to stay anywhere else in Gaia or Porto now!. Not the cheapest but good value. Highly recommended....

A marvellous sparkling hotel

The Vincci is in a great location for exploring the port cellars and the riverside. Downtown Porto is minutes walk away (or a short Metro ride!). We paid for a room with a view and it didn't fail to impress. The hotel is comfortable and clean: staff are helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfasts were delicious with a great selection. Very modern and stylish hotel and rooms. Big bathroom with a great shower. Room itself is also very modern and nice. It might be a bit small when it comes to unpacking two big luggages but absolutely manageable.
Breakfast is very good. Lots of choices and quality of the food is great.
Didnt use the restaurant and pool bar, though.
Staff is extremely friendly and they go the extra mile in service. Always happy to...

Since it's named after and situated next to an iron / steel bridge that carries Metro trains across the Douro river, of course, it's a little noisy at times. The windows shut out the noise quite well but I didn't realize until I was departing that my window wasn't properly closing which increased the problem.
