When we were first shown our room, we were horrified!
There was a high window which wouldn't allow anyone to look out, the lighting was non existent with no bedside reading light.
The room itself was dark and dreary and due to the dormer ceiling, one is likely to bang one's head.
We complained to reception who were unable or unwilling to change our room until we contacted our travel agent.

Its a beautiful hotel right on the edge of old town. The hotel is nice from outside in. We arrived 2:45p, check in isnt until 3pm and sure enough, room wasnt ready but should be ready in 15min. And it was. At 3:01 young girl at desk announced, your room is ready. There were actually housekeeping staff on our floor when we got to room so its possibly true, coincidentally. Anyway, the room is nice, nicely...

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect. The best part of the experience was the staff they were absolutely amazing! kind, attentive, and great mannered. Excellent hotel with lovely decorated lobby. Rooms are spotlesly clean and staff is super helpful. You need to try breakfast and their oysters at weekends. One thing is that maybe you need to check wifi connection because sometimes it was a bit choppy....

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend, and we really liked it. The hotel is conveniently located, with the old town within walking distance. The reception staff were friendly and provided us with a city map with important locations marked....
