Best time to go to Luxembourg

Most people flock to Luxembourg in the summer, when toastier temperatures and sunny days are the norm. From June to September, the mercury holds tight in the low 20s, so it’s ideal for sightseeing. The country’s easy on the eye in the winter months, thanks to dustings of snow. It’s chilly, though – temperatures peak just a few degrees above zero. As for rainfall, you can expect to see some of the wet stuff all year round.

Passports and Visas

British citizens don’t need a visa to enter Luxembourg but must have a valid passport. For the most up-to-date passport and visa info, visit www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/luxembourg/entry-requirements.

Don't forget to arrange your travel money and insurance before you go.

Health and safety

You should take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover you while you’re away. For the latest health and safety information, visit www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/luxembourg/health
