Best time to go to Ras Al Khaimah

The best time to visit the United Arab Emirates, for once, might not actually just be when the weather’s hottest. Summers here top 45°C, so it’s the hardcore sun bums that often brave this season. Some winter sun is always a good bet, when we’re talking more around the mid-20s mark. From November to April, it’s the perfect combination for sunbathing and sightseeing.

Passports and Visas

As a British citizen, you must have a valid passport and you’ll be given a 30-day visa when you arrive in the UAE. For the most up-to-date passport and visa information, visit www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/united-arab-emirates/entry-requirements.

Don't forget to arrange your travel money and insurance before you go.

Health and safety

You should take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover you while you’re away. For the latest health and safety information, visit www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/united-arab-emirates/health.
