We spent 3 nights at the Axel in Berlin, and the stay exceeded our expectations!
The room (standard) was big, with everything you could expect. It gave on a backyard so there was limited noise.
Location of the hotel is a gem, super close to public transport and in the midst of the gay village, we did really feel like we could not have been better situated.

Fabulous hotel, perfect for a city break

Fabulous location, very close to all the bars, clubs and shops that we were interested in. The vibe of the hotel is very relaxed its very quiet too, both in the common areas and the rooms, which is good when you want to have a quiet ziz. I had read reviews before going, about unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. Well in my experience staying nothing could be further from the truth. Everything we passed reception we were always greeted with a hello and some polite small talk , especially from Fabian .
The rooms had everything u could ask for in them and were cleaned daily.
Great facilities and vibes all round from the Hotel, and in a perfect location....

We just got home from a lovely stay in Berlin. The Axel Hotel is in a perfect location, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful at check in/out. The rooms were a lovely size, clean, with housekeeping visiting everyday.
Theres lots to see and do nearby, and the train station is just down the street for travelling out.
