Stayed here in a twin room for 4 nights whilst at the F1 Hungarian grand prix with 16 year old son. Quirky place. good location for all transport links on the Buda side of the city. Walking distance to supermarket and some restaurants/cafes.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and beds, although quite small, were comfortable and room was serviced every day with fresh towels.

What a wonderfully charming and unique experience to have in the very beautiful Budapest. We loved the quirky , faded elegance of the boat. The room was perfectly laid out and everything in good order , although we did miss having a kettle in the room as no other tea/coffee facilities available. I was worried about the previous reviews regarding aircon as I knew it would be hot during our stay, 35 degrees plus however it was fine and our room was always a very cool welcome coming in from outside. Other reviews commented on a diesel smell but to me it was very minimal and not at all unpleasant. The location is brilliant and the breakfast was very good. The boat itself was very clean. We did however have a problem with the floor in our cabin as this was soft underfoot and liable to make one trip. We did mention this to the reception gentleman and on inspection said "we are fully booked" and that was it.

I received a request to evaluate my stay at the hotel on a boat. The atmosphere at the hotel was very nice, breakfast was okay. The view from the hotel restaurant of the parliament was great. Very easy to get from the airport. Unfortunately, what completely ruined the charm of this place for me was the non-functioning air conditioning.
