Just returned home after a 3 night stay on the Grand Jules Boat hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We upgraded to a river view room (it was only £4 each) so had a fantastic view of the parliament building from our cabin. It's ideally based next to the Margaret bridge which means all the main tourist sites are within walking distance. You do hear a bit of a rumble from the trams cros...

Where to start on arrival at night I thought we were approaching a ship breaking yard no lights and lots of river detritus around the bow . On entering a very nonchalant chap gave us our key and directed us to our cabin on the upper deck . After climbing what can only be described as a small viaferatta we found our cabin . Had a lovely stay on the boat. Rooms were cozy, only criticism was in a twin room. The only socket to charge your phone was located right near the ceiling, and was impossible to charge. The only solution was to unplug the fridge. Also think a nice touch would be a coffee machine, near to rexeption or a kettle in the room. And with never being to Budapest before it would have been nice to get an email detailing public...
