We are booked to visit the hotel again this week and I have realised I didnt review it after our last trip. We came for Valentines weekend, leaving our teenagers at home but are bringing them this time.

This would be one of my top hotel stays on our 5wk European holiday from Australia. As this was going to be my only visit to Budapest I was looking for a fantastic hotel overlooking the Danube River and with views of Buda Castle and the Hungarian Parliament. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel.
When we arrived and entered the room, I was honestly shocked. The room looked extremely outdated, cold, and uncomfortable, almost like something from a communist-era hotel rather than a five-star InterContinental property. What can I say about this hotel but just amazing. We went for 4 nights between Christmas and the new year. The place is fantastic, we booked a room with a river view( which I highly recommend) the views were spectacular. The staff were all very friendly and all spoke good English. Hotel is new, modern. Loaction is perfect with a few step to Lion bridge, attractions, and shopping street. Room with castle and river view are gorgeous, highly recommend. Staffs at club lounge are friendly and well support. My kid also was warm welcome in club lounge. Diamond ambassador was well recognize at check in with late check out 4 pm without request.
