View stunning but hotel needs an overhaul

This is definitely not the five-star experience I expected from an InterContinental.
The hotels greatest strength is its location. We booked a suite with what is arguably one of the best views of the Danube and Buda Castle, and it was simply spectacular. The position couldnt be better, we walked everywhere and loved being so central.

The standout feature of this hotel is its unbeatable location on the Danube. The views from the room were simply spectacular, with several of Budapest's iconic landmarks visible right from the window.

Location, location, location!
The InterContinental Budapest has, in my opinion, the best location in the city. Situated directly on the banks of the Danube River next to the iconic Chain Bridge, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the Buda side of Budapest, including Buda Castle and Matthias Church.

My room was really big. The amenities are alright I have no issues, with them. The hotel is a luxury hotel but he is not very modern. I don't know but there is something missing, like no beauty yet my experienced was amazing .
The breakfast has lots of options so really fills me up for the day....

We had a lovely stay at the Intercontinental Budapest. The hotel is in a fantastic location along the Danube River and provides easy access to the most popular tourist attractions. We were luckily upgraded to a room facing the river and absolutely loved our view of the castle lit up at night. We highly recommend staying here if you're in Budapest!...
