We have just returned from a short couples trip to Budapest, staying at the InterContinental, which was superb.
Due to our early morning flight we arrived earlier than the check-in time so headed for reception to ask if we could leave our bags. The receptionist checked if our allocated room was ready, which it was, but as I am an IHG member she could move us to a better located room which was also available - serio...

Fantastic stay in Budapest! The location is perfect with beautiful river views, the rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the staff provided excellent, professional service throughout our stay. Great breakfast and overall a truly relaxing experience. Highly recommended!...

What a great hotel with staff that are so helpful and polite.
We booked a room that also had lounge access and yes its worth it. The whole lounge team and especially Agnes, couldn't do enough to help us. The food and drink that is available during the day is excellent as is the open bar 6-8pm each evening.
The location of the hotel is perfect and close to many of the main tourist sites.
