lovely hotel staff are fantastic pay the extra for a river view you wont regret it breakfast is ok but we made the mistake of booking evening meal DO NOT book evening meal its a rip off food is lovely but the same 3 things to choose every night...

The only thing going for this hotel is location, location, location. The rooms are tired and in need of a facelift. You need to do the high jump to get into the tub; the shower head is handheld, and the hot water goes back and forth between hot and cold. The breakfast buffet offerings are limited for a high-end hotel, and poorly set up. There were lines every morning, and the staff was sparse. Tables remained filled...

The location is perfect, right next to the tram and the Chain Bridge is just steps away.
Staff excellent; we had a lot of great information from the concierge team and help with taxis from the door staff.
We found breakfast charges very expensive so skipped that and ate elsewhere. The system with the elevator only allows you access to the floor of your room which was inconvenient when trying to meet family one floor ...

The stay was excellent. Its since we checked out weve had the issues. At check in we were charged 50 euros in case of any bar charges etc. We had none. At checkout this should have been refunded. Ive been told by IHG there was a technical issue at check out, which is code for it wasnt done. Three weeks and four calls to the hotel via IHG call centre later..still no refund despite being told on each occasion they...
