This is not the hotel for you

Very noisy place... small rooms, the bad is almost from side to side of the room.
Low quality door and walls, so you can hear everything from other rooms. No sound insulation... it is impossible to sleep in this hotel...
Maybe it cheap, how ever you are paying fro be able to sleep, you will not able to sleep in the hotel.
They move me to another room it voice is even stronger now... you do not have value for money.

We came here for a small getaway, but unfortunately found several issues:
1. Cleanliness of the room The regular chair was dirty, with stickers left behind from someones socks. This made me feel the room hadnt been properly cleaned.
2. Refrigerator check I opened the fridge and found a bag of fruits that didnt belong to us. Clearly, housekeeping hadnt checked it.
3. Bathroom condition The bathroom was okay...

Clean rooms and friendly staff.
The fitness centre need a lot of work, weights missing, thrown around the floor etc
Badly needs an upgrade, at least provide adequate weights...

Perfect for what we needed

There are some mixed reviews for here, but we stayed 4 nights for our first ever Budapest trip, it did everything we needed it to do. I did go for a superior room, for the extra space, but it was a fantastic space and lovely bed - rooms were made up every day. Water and coffee was provided, although the Fridge was very poor, so don't rely on that.

The Leonardo Hotel Budapest is an excellent choice if you want to be in the heart of the city. Its centrally located and within easy walking distance to major transportation, making it simple to get anywhere in Budapest.
