Reading some of the reviews about this hotel you would think the hotel was a bit hit and miss. I do not understand why people cannot give this hotel at least four stars as it is very good.

Not Good Enough for a Return Stay

This was an adequate hotel that wasn't very expensive. We wouldn't stay there again, but would try to get closer to the older part of Budapest. The lobby and restaurant were fine and the staff were nice, but there were enough negatives about the room to make us choose somewhere else the next time we visit Budapest....

Pros: Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Location is nice: short walk to public transit; some nice restaurants on Tompa; not on a big thoroughfare with lots of traffic and noise. Breakfast was fantastic!

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Took the time to outline our excursions on a map. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is near public transport
