Basic but clean and friendly, gym needs new equipment

Clean rooms and friendly staff.
The fitness centre need a lot of work, weights missing, thrown around the floor etc
Badly needs an upgrade, at least provide adequate weights...

There are some mixed reviews for here, but we stayed 4 nights for our first ever Budapest trip, it did everything we needed it to do. I did go for a superior room, for the extra space, but it was a fantastic space and lovely bed - rooms were made up every day. Water and coffee was provided, although the Fridge was very poor, so don't rely on that.

The Leonardo Hotel Budapest is an excellent choice if you want to be in the heart of the city. Its centrally located and within easy walking distance to major transportation, making it simple to get anywhere in Budapest. Right around the corner theres a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant, along with plenty of cafés, bars, and local shops. An ideal place to stay for a short city break. We stayed here for 3 nights and had a really comfortable stay. The hotel is only a short walk from the main city areas and the Danube river, and only a little further to the parliament building and shopping area.
Breakfast had a varied selection of hot and cold dishes, and there is no need to rush down first thing (like you have to in some hotels!), the staff are cons...

Ok hotel, quite good service but nothing over the ordinary. Stable breakfast and good rooms works overnight as we stayed but I wouldnt stay for longer trips. So an OK hotel but nothing to special nothing to bad but would choose another for a longer stay next time...
