Was there with my husband for 2 nights. We are on a long European holiday and Budapest was our first stop. Thankfully we chose Mera as our first hotel. Vivien from the front desk, was superbly polite, helpful with directions and she helped us understand the city map better. Beautiful hotel which is very well located near city centre, lovely welcoming and helpful staff - also a lovely glass of wine for us all when we were at reception rooms nicely decorated and clean with excellent showers and facilities, breakfast was good and plenty with a mix of hot and cold to choose from, definitely stay again , thankyou Mera hotel staff for being helpful....

What a fantastic hotel from start to finish
Our arrival time was near midnight but the evening staff were great and very welcoming
The room was perfect and we enjoyed the long weekend in pure comfort
Our only gripe if anything was the air con wasnt that good but the windows are safe to open so it didnt cause a problem

The Mera Hotel is a small hotel boutique hotel within a larger building. It is ideally located to explore the city and the facilities were excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and were always present to assist when needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was tasty and in a very relaxed setting. Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Room as advertised, spacious, well equipped and impeccably clean. Slight road noise at the front of the hotel (you wont want to open a window) but not particularly intrusive at night. Breakfast selection very good.
A really nice touch was the birthday card and bottle of wine which awaited us; they had spotted that it was my birthday the previous day. Very thoughtful.
