The most perfect location, close to the Basilica and the most wonderful xmas market, as well as transportation. Located in a culinary heaven right next yo Sushi Heaven, The magic (the Harry potter themed restaurant) Tay Ho and so many more. A brief, exciting, active, informative and highly enjoyable weekend spent in Budapest in the Opera Garden Hotel. Great location in the middle of so many of the things that are to be seen in Budapest. Our hotel room was very comfortable, top floor and accessed by a for a better word scenic lift where you are looking into the courtyard as you ascent and then a few extra steps to get to the room. We had stayed in this wonderful hotel a lot longer than anticipated due to my mother taking a fall in the street and fracturing her hip. A very stressful time for us both, however because of the kindness and warmth shown to me by the staff ( especially the reception staff) Baliant, Timi, Anna amongst others made my difficult situation more manageable. We have had a wonderful time at this lovely hotel, every one has been so welcoming and friendly.
The rooms are immaculate.
The hotel is in a very central position and found it very easy to get around from it .
Breakfast is fresh lovely food read to set you up for the day .
Lastly it was my husbands birthday today and we came back to a box of chocolates and congratulations from the hotel , we didnt say anything ...
