Lovel and clean hotel in a perfect location to visit attractions and sights!!we stayed in the apartments across from the road from the main hotel and it was amazing!the breakfast isnt as good as some hotels,but theres enough to fill you!and there is no bar in the hotel which is a shame,as I like to have a drink while waiting for my wife to get ready,but theres a nice sports bars pretty much next door...

Had a fabulous 3 night stay at this central hotel for walking and sightseeing.
We had a room on the 3rd floor which was very quiet with everything you could want for a short stay.
The reception staff were always attentive and extremely helpful.
Breakfast was more than adequate, my husband particularly liked the Hungarian eggs.
The bathroom was small but okay for a short stay.
One restaurant we loved was the New York ...

A very good hotel in a decent location surrounded by food retailers which provide quality local Hungarian food and places of interest such as St. Stephens basilica and house of terror all within a 10/15 min walk. Food was reasonably good each morning but lacked a bit of variety. The room does get full so be sure to get there early if you want to avoid it being packed. There is an upstairs room as an overflow. Perfect location. Rooms lovely - really spacious for a family of 4. Breakfast a nice basic start to the day. My only comment would be the air con unit was very loud throughout the nice else I would have given 5 star!...

Fabulous location, great hotel

I stayed 4 nights as a female solo traveler. Excellent location & very easy to walk everywhere. Hotel was lovely, clean, comfortable bed & everything you need for your stay. Breakfast was sufficient & gave you that great start to your day. Staff all very friendly & made you feel welcome. Thank you to everyone at opera gardens , most definitely recommend & when I return to Budapest this hotel will be my 1st choice....
