Reviews from first floor rooms sound like they have been renovated sadly not 212.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 night, we stayed in room 212. Desperate need for renovation. The bathroom needed a good clean. The shower plug hole was blocked with hairs , making the water go down the plug hole very slow, so you could only stay in the shower a short time or it would overflow. The base of the shower screen was very dirty. Carpets going upstairs were badly stained. Breakfast was fine, and staff friend...

Highly recommended hotel. The location is exceptional- everything is in walking distance.
Very helpful and friendly staff, would like to highlight the ladies in the reception and the kitchen chef. The breakfast was good, the food was tasty.
The room was very clean....

First the negatives-stairs to climb,stained hall way carpet,leak in bathroom and noisy sound extractor.Shower only got to luke warm unless you were early.No tea/coffe facility in room.
Positives: excellent central position,walkable to many sights,friendly staff,great breakfast.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend. It was easy to find and right in the centre so everything was within 20mins walk which is nice.
The hotel is quite dated but we didnt mind because we wanted the location. It was clean, decent size rooms and the staff were very friendly.

Really nice but basic hotel. I had a single room 118, which was on the first floor. It was really clean with nice decor. The shower room was a decent size and good pressure and hot water. The only problem was the bed was a memory foam with no spring support. Also the plugs have a safety device in them, which was broken when I arrived so a little hard to charge your phone at the side of the bed ...
