To anyone considering Dorint: dont mistake the branding for basic human decency.
I stayed at Dorint Hotel Cologne, where my luggage was stolen from their own front desk cloakroom. What followed was insulting negligence, discriminatory behavior, and outright legal denial.

Nice hotel near station Deutz Messe. Checkin was quick, temperature inside very good, as outside was a bit hot and dry. Huge lobby, bar with a small garden area, huge breaky room with good seating. Breaky was very good, eggs, scrambled and sunny side up, sausages, cereals, bread and buns, frsh fruit a wonderful assortment of jams available. I have stayed here 8 times since 2012 and always treated fantastic by staff and the location is 10/10
Rooms are always clean and tidy.
BUT unfortunately I feel the hotel is over Charing for a product thats now out of date.
it is now starting to look very outdated and falling out off place with other hotel rooms in the surrounding area. Other hotels have had total refurbishments and this one sadly hasnt and its ...

Excellent hotel close to the Cologne Messe-Deutz station. Superior room we had was more like a suite across two floors with kitchenette with microwave and fridge, large seating area and two bathrooms.
Breakfast buffet was great with a wide selection of hot and cold food. Friendly staff. Will definitely stay again....
