Cologne during exhibition time

Unfortunately all hotels in Cologne are totally overpriced during exhibition periods taking advantage of the fact that many guests have to book a room, no matter what service is offered. The hotel would be OK and has friendly staff, but price - value is not OK...

A lovely place to stay in Frankfurt

Its very close to the AltStadt, a 10 min walk! So you can easily get around on foot. Its a lovely place to stay, I even made a couple of new friends and we explored the Christmas markets together!...

Basic hotel with little amenities. Reception very poor never answer the phone. If you want to see Cologne easily don't stay at thus Hotel is very far out of the city and hard to get to in public transport. No bar or even tea or coffee after 9pm, breakfast far too expensive...
