We picked this hotel as we got a very good deal through British airways . Flying club and bed and breakfast in a king room .
The hotel is in a great location . We checked in on the 2nd Nov about 1800. The lady and gentleman on reception were very good . Giving us a map and advising where we were etc. The same gentleman was on when we departed on the 6th at 1330. Both should be commended on their customer service .

Not at ALL accessible (despite what they say - they're either clueless or lying)

Booked a 5 night stay for the end of October. Was told it was accessible, and booked an accessible room. Upon arriving, they had no detail of it being an accessible room, but quickly rectified that. The 'accessible' room is not accessible (unless your definition of accessible is a lowered peep hole in the door and a flimsy looked bar about the size of the handle in a car door in the shower [in a raised shower cub...

I stayed here during the ANUGA fair it was a terrible experience. Check-in was delayed, and the room was not ready even after the official check-in time. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and the manager lied to my face and refused to help. The Junior Suite was small, old, and definitely not worth the price. Hilton Cologne is in an excellent location, just behind the famous cathedral. The room was lovely and very spacious, the food in the main restaurant was great ( I had the excellent schnitzel, worth a try) and well priced, and the gym is absolutely brilliant one of the best Ive used in a European city hotel.
The exec lounge was closed but the team more than made up for it with some bar vouchers....

I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience with the Hilton Cologne. My booking for October 48 was suddenly canceled without any proper explanation, even though I had informed the hotel in advance about my delayed arrival via booking.com (where i made my booking). When I arrived on October 5, I was told there was no information about my late arrival, so my room was passed to another guest and no rooms available...
