Rip off parking charges - no decent common spaces

Rip off parking charges of 32 a night. No lounge area where you can meet people. The bar in the lounge only has small dining tables which are not comfortable for chatting/ relaxing; and a few smaller tables where only 2 people can fit. Ground floor corridors are populated by miscellaneous furniture left over from conference/ events held in the hotel. Feels like the hotel functions are neglected - presumably the mon...

Perfect place to stay in Cologne!

Ana greeted my wife and I when we arrived. She made us feel special and right at home. The entire staff was exceptional! The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is so close to the train station, the Cathedral and Old Town. It surpassed all our expectations! If we return to Cologne, we'll stay there again.

Modern Hotel in a Perfect Location

Outstanding hotel, possibly the best Hilton I've stayed at in Europe.
The location (2 minutes walk from the train station and cathedral; 5 minutes from the old town) is idea for seeing the major sights.
It's a modern, smart hotel with very comfortable rooms and rain showers. The staff were courteous.

My stay at Hilton Colon in Germany began with significant issues at check-in. Despite having a voucher clearly stating we were booked for a King room, the receptionist insisted on giving us a Queen room instead. When I showed our documentation proving we had paid for a King room, she continued to argue that we had only booked a Queen.

Just wanted to thank the management and staff at the Hilton Cologne. The hotel benefits from an excellent location, a mere 5 minute walk from the main railway station and also similar to the cathedral and the old town.
