Christmas Markets

The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and really set us up for our daily visits out to the markets.
Prefect location to walk to all the Christmas Markets, train station, dining options etc. hence we did not eat in-house.
Room was a good size and very clean....

Everything was perfect in this hotel all staff were excellent from the minute we arrived until we left had a family room which we coudnt fault,central location 10 minute walk to train station 5 mins from pubs and restaurants. Will be returning to cologne for the xmas markets and will definitely use this hotel ...

A very good hotel in an excellent location-a short walk from the cathedral, train station and all of the major sights.
Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel but uncomfortable beds.

I feel a little bad leaving a 3 star review as the hotel is lovely and the staff are 5 star. However, weve stayed three nights and unfortunately had the most uncomfortable rock hard beds. I asked reception for an extra two pillows to try and alleviate the hardness but it hasnt worked. Since the sleep is probably the most important part of a hotel stay I cant give it more than a 3. Stayed on the 5th floor overlooking the atrium in a budget room. Decor was traditional, room a good size, bed comfortable and the shower powerful with sensory/colour rotating lighting. No plugs by the bed which was a bit inconvenient. Worst thing for me was that the curtains didn't fully cover the window so a lot of light came around them from the giant lit angel hanging outside in the atrium (on the 2nd night we pus...
