Clean hotel. Room was basic, not much info in room about restaurants on site. Breakfast was ok, usual for europe hotel.
Location was very very good. Staff efficient but not overly friendly...

We decided to visit the Cologne Christmas markets, but only had one full day to enjoy it. We were checked into the Maritim Hotel Koln on the evening of 22 December by Akar, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout our entire trip. Impressive from the outside ... disappointed with the standards of cleanliness.

We leave tomorrow. The room hasn't been cleaned today. It's been a constant battle to get it cleaned and restocked since we arrived 5 days ago. I wouldn't recommend and wouldn't come back. It's not some cheap 2* hotel after all ........

We stayed here for two nights in early December as we visited the Christmas markets. The hotel is well located for the markets and the atrium was visibly impressive with Xmas decorations.
Sadly, our experience at the hotel just wasn't great - the staff at reception were painfully slow and unhelpful. We felt we were an inconvenience rather than a paying customer.

Not the most modern hotel, but friendly staff, spacious parking, clean rooms (despite a little outdated interior), and most importantly very central location....
