Not the most modern hotel, but friendly staff, spacious parking, clean rooms (despite a little outdated interior), and most importantly very central location....

I wasnt sure what to expect, as I had no prior knowledge of this hotel brand. Typically, I prefer to choose a well-known name, especially when visiting a city for the first time. However, the moment I stepped through the doors, all my doubts quickly disappeared.

Smelly room and no AC

The room smells and the AC, despite being very loud, most certainly does not work. Im only staying one night and Im miserable. Absolutely awful experience....

After two decades of occasionally staying at the Maritim Hotel Cologne, we decided to give it another try for a long weekend. We had heard the hotel had undergone some modernization but we were disappointed.
Now, the air conditioning. It made lots of noise and produced absolutely no cold air. We reported it three times. No result.
