Great time at NH Altstadt

I had a lovely time staying at NH Köln Altstadt. All the staff were so lovely and attentive. I found the room to be comfortable and bright. The breakfast was delicious, and I did not have a problem getting sat either day. The lobby is very welcoming and I spent some time the day I left sat there waiting to go to the airport....

We have stayed at this Hotel on numerous occasions and have always found it very clean and comfortable. We visit quite often as our daughter lives in Cologne. Unfortunately, on our last visit it was not up to it's usual high standards. The toilet was all cracked and stained. There was what looked like blood under the seat, which was there for the whole of our 5 night stay. It obviously was not cleaned properly during...

Room too hot - air con useless. Check in service rude. Sauna good. Hotel lacks friendliness. Room was spacious just far too hot and noisy....

The rooms was great and mainly clean. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Only thing i would comment on was the cleanliness of the toilet floor. Also, the wifi was super super bad. I even bought the 24hr premium WiFi but there was barely any difference from the free one, but besides that all was good....

Worst hotel stay ever.
Dirty room with stains on wall and carpet . Leaking toilet and dirty shower
Rude bar staff literally mocked my Partner - solution was to leave fee free drinks vouchers
Hot breakfast fare was tepid
Fire alarm triggered because housekeeping shook a dusty sheetyes, seriously!
Reception made promisesdid nothing
Had to leave early for an emergencyagreed to refund city tax,...
