Quite a good experience. Rooms were very well maintained, so some work was needed to expose drywall, but the taste was immaculate. Varying thicknesses along the wall, very classy. Staff were kind and respectful. No questions were asked, which is always a plus. All in all, a very pleasurable experience....

The Breidenbacher Hof is as close to perfect as I have experienced in an inner city hotel. It is low key with all the amenities you require in a fine setting. It starts when you walk into the lobby and are greeted by name. I did finally learn how they do it, not magic just clever. In early April, we visited Düsseldorf for the first time. It was exceptional. Of course, sunny spring weather in the high 60s and the city awash in early blooms and blossoms didn't hurt!
