We stayed at the Clayton Hotel Düsseldorf recently, and from start to finish it was truly a memorable experience for both me and my boyfriend. The hotel itself was beautiful and comfortable, but what really made our stay exceptional was the staff in particular, one standout bartender named Alka.

Great hotel with excellent service. Rooms are fantastic and spotless clean. Really professional staff and a great location for exploring Christmas markets . If you are travelling with small children and chose this because of the pool be aware it is not particularly small child friendly. No real shallow end it is- 1.34m and quite cool and up a long spiral staircase so perfect for plunging in after the sauna but when...

We spent the night to visit the Christmas markets. Check in was easy. Our room was ready a bit early which was nice. I had called and asked for a room with a bathtub but we got a room with a small shower. Bathroom was in rough shape. Mold in shower and loose fixtures, poor water pressure and the floor got all wet.
