Good intentions but lacking for the price

Hotel is well situated in Little Tokyo. Decoration is cute and made me feel comfortable and welcome. The room was really small which was still ok for me (one person- small luggage).
The breakfast was good with a bit of everything.
Intentions are good but this hotel is still lacking: One lamp was missing a bulb, the record player (nice touch) was broken as was the safe. The safe was so small that my iPad didn´t fit an...

Was here in January 2025, attending a conference. Good and bad bits .....
the Good - the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. WIFI is strong throughout the hotel. Breakfast is great. Comfy beds and pillows. Good location in the City. Lobby bar is unusual but did a good G&T! Decor is quirky, which brings me on the bad points.

An excellent location for getting into the town. Close enough to walk to bars and restaurants. A querky hotel. Beds are very comfortable. Shower was very powerful. Would definitely revisite. And would highly recommend. Friendly and helpful staff....

Getting the worst room after receiving "free upgrade"

When we arrived a few minutes before check-in (which we communicated beforehand), they told us our room wasn't ready, so they gave us the happy news that we receive a "free upgrade room" immediately. The hotel was at a perfect location; we asked before we arrived for 2 twin beds which was not possible but when we arrived we had 2 twin beds so a nice advantage. The WIFI was super quick and the basketball net in the room was also cool for my daughter. The room is very small but nice for 1 night. It was very warm in the room but luckily we had a fan.
