Was here in January 2025, attending a conference. Good and bad bits .....
the Good - the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. WIFI is strong throughout the hotel. Breakfast is great. Comfy beds and pillows. Good location in the City. Lobby bar is unusual but did a good G&T! Decor is quirky, which brings me on the bad points.

An excellent location for getting into the town. Close enough to walk to bars and restaurants. A querky hotel. Beds are very comfortable. Shower was very powerful. Would definitely revisite. And would highly recommend. Friendly and helpful staff....

Getting the worst room after receiving "free upgrade"

When we arrived a few minutes before check-in (which we communicated beforehand), they told us our room wasn't ready, so they gave us the happy news that we receive a "free upgrade room" immediately. The hotel was at a perfect location; we asked before we arrived for 2 twin beds which was not possible but when we arrived we had 2 twin beds so a nice advantage. The WIFI was super quick and the basketball net in the room was also cool for my daughter. The room is very small but nice for 1 night. It was very warm in the room but luckily we had a fan. After a ten minute walk from the station in the sweltering heat I took a right and left and saw the hotel in front of. Walking in felt a little different to other hotels, it felt relaxed, almost like walking into somebodys home. I was greeted by two ladies speaking impeccable English (my German is zero ) and the check in was polite, friendly, quick and easy.
