Dear staff of the NH Hotel,
Last Saturday, my husband and I had a very distressing experience at your hotel.
On two separate occasions, at around 4 a.m., a completely naked man entered our hotel room (room 404). This happened because the lock on our room door turned out to be broken.

Arrived too early for check in but welcoming staff were happy to store bags while we went out to catch up with friends and find our bearings again after last living and working in Düsseldorf many years ago.
Room was fairly basic and small but we only used it for sleeping as we were out all day. It would have been nice to have a larger shower cubicle. There was a coffee machine and kettle and coffee pods replenished ...

Its a nice, centrally located hotel, but some things could have been better. To begin with, the reception staff could have been more welcoming. The breakfast area would benefit from having a second coffee machine, as guests currently wait up to ten minutes just for a morning coffee. A few additional tables in the breakfast area would also help.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and overall found it very nice. The hotel is located on a fairly quiet corner in the center of Düsseldorf, not far from the main promenade. Another plus is its walkable distance to Düsseldorf Central Train Station just about 8 minutes on foot. The entire building is renovated and modern, and the lobby is nicely decorated.
