Unprofessional staff and noisy room

I stayed at Victoria Hotel Frankfurt on January 3, 2026 (4th floor) and had a very poor experience.
Throughout the night there was persistent, disruptive noise that made it impossible to sleep. I contacted reception multiple times during the night to report the issue, but no effective action was taken and the noise continued.

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay here for our one night. The area is nothing special, but is walkable to other areas of interest. Reception was very welcoming and they did what they could to prepare our rooms early due to our very early arrival. Our rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We would return....

We stayed here back in 2019 and it was a most excellent stay which is why we chose to stay here again. This time however... First, the hotel staff was WONDERFUL! This was a quick overnight prior to departing for the airport the next morning. The room we were assigned was a bit worn but clean and comfortable. However, our friends said their room was dirty. One of the best hotels I ever stayed in in europe. When ypu search for a hotel, you look for service and this hotel is #1 as a service from my own experience, location is perfect .. and room is amazing ..
Need to mention that I cancelled my reservation in westen hotel althought it was cheaper because the service in victoria is much better.

Room is cramped. AC works well (not common in Germany).
Breakfast reasonable priced and sufficient.
Noisy over weekends as there is a bar next door that seems to have most patrons out on the street. Bottles and discarded shoes (yes) and trash everywhere.
I am a smoker and going outside was not fun. I think all Germans have stopped buying their own cigarettes, instead demanding it from tourists.
