An uninspiring hotel in an average part of town. The food is very basic and the rooms, while clean and spacious are bland and not homely. The aircon just blew tepid air making the room hot (in March)....

Avoid at all costs. Staff are incredibly rude on reception. My airpods went missing from my room, they were when i left the room & gone when i came bk. The room was cleaned whilst i was out. I went to reception who told me things like this dont happen, called the ckeaning team who said no they havent got them, didnt realy think ny1 would admit it!! They are on my tracker as in Hamburg not too far from the hotel & see...

Hotel is not far from the main station (4 stops) and bus run quite frequent and bus stop is just around the corner. U Bahn is a bit distance but still good. Hotel located in a residential area so not much activities around. Have booked an Alster View room. Got to fifth floor on the corner. Room is very sizable. Windows on two size with lot of natural light. Bed and pillows are very comfy. The only down side is ...

We thoroughly enjoyed our six-night stay at the Crowne Plaza City Alster, Hamburg. A special thank you to Julia, whose warmth and friendliness made our breakfasts such a pleasure each morning, and to Smo, both at the bar and during breakfast service, for his helpful, personable, and professional manner. We stayed here for two nights as a family of three. As the rooms were comfortably laid out, very quiet and we were given two rooms together which was helpful as a family breakfast was lovely as were all the attentive staff.
