Clean with big breakfast buffet - disengaged staff

The hotel is clean and have an elaborate breakfast buffet and the set up for tea at breakfast is one of the best I have ever seen.
The room is comfortable and holds all you need with a possibility to make tea and coffee.
The staff however is very slow and disengaged. Check in was slow, check out was slow, my colleagues drink was so slow from the bar we had to leave for dinner before it came.

The hotel is well located in terms of proximity to an S Bahn stop and access to the city centre. It is true that there is little nearby, but that was not a problem for our group. Staff very friendly, our rooms were very comfortable and spotless, but small and quite dark. The lobby/bar area is trendy and lively. Breakfast buffet top notch. Pros:
Check in was very easy, I provided details by email beforehand and simply picked up the key from reception. The room was comfortable, the air con easy to sort out. Great rainforest shower.
Cons:
The hotel isnt near any supermarkets or bars or anything, but is only a few hundred meters from Hammerbrook S Bahn.

The location of the hotel isn't very nice, the whole neighbourhood feels industrial and it looks completely desolate in the evenings and especially on the weekends, the street is pitch black at night and feels a bit unsafe. Construction works here and there, making it difficult to walk the street with a heavy luggage. Upon arrival at the hotel, you must climb a flight of stairs; there's a lift but as a guest you cann...

Modern hotel, well maintained. More pointed to younger crowd with loud music and hip decorations and basic reception service. Excellent breakfast though! Nothing interesting at walking distance, not even restaurants. Luckily S-train station at the next corner....
