The hotel itself is lovely. The room was huge, so much bigger to what you can expect in the UK for the money. It was nicely decorated throughout and kept immaculately clean.
All the staff we have come across were great, very polite, friendly and helpful.

Ilunion hotels are part of a group with a social conscience and look after their people very well. Their Malaga hotel was excellent for our eight night stay in the city. The location is very good and is only a ten minute walk from Maria Zambrano station for frequent trains to the airport and along the coast. I stayed at Ilunion Málaga for one night in order to run in a half marathon with the starting point located nearby. Hotel very good on the whole. Room was excellent and big, air conditioned. Bathroom was good, nice show (over bath). They even left us a plate of chocolates and fruit, really nice.
Staff were good, check in and out spot on, no issue.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff, , rooms really nice clean and comfortable , great breakfast, 10-15mins walk to centre of Malaga lovely covered pool to use in the cooler weather would definitely recommend easy to get access public transport and close to bus stops...
