When I was looking for a hotel in Munich I researched many in differ areas and looked at reviews. I think for some of the reviews for this hotel , they must have stayed somewhere else !! The hotel is easy to find , and only 2 mins walk from the local transport station, so with a few minutes you are in the center of Munich, we would buy a family ticket every day , which for us was the best value for money.

The annual Christmas market trip was to Munich this year. Now, hotels and taxis come very expensive in Munich, especially within the city centre, so we went with one of Munichs Holiday Inn Expresses, their large one located on the west side.
Balanced with cost, this hotel is perfectly located next to Hirschgarten train station. Easily reached by the S1 or S8 metro from the city or airport. Check in was friendly an...

Terrible experience at the hotel bar that just soured my entire visit. I can forgive the bartender serving 2 customers first even though the came after me. BUT, when I asked the other bartender for a martini, and he could only make a g&t, that was the last straw. And, he looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. Terrible....

Nice rooms, but the air conditioning does not cool off. The room was hot and could not sleep. The refrigerator has no thermometer and very warm, won't keep anything cold....
