Perfect for a short trip at any time of year in Munich

We were staying for Oktoberfest, 9 of us. A reasonable rate for the time of year, great location with the train station less than 5 minutes walk away. From there it is 25 minutes to the centre, 35 minutes to the airport. Hotel was clean, nice bar and reception area, helpful desk staff and the food at breakfast was good quality and a good variety. Great place for Oktoberfest and hungover people

We stayed here for Oktoberfest. Great location, its located on the Trainline to the airport so its easy to access.
The check in was easy and very helpful. Our hotel room was very comfy and warm.
The best thing was the facilities nearby. There is a shopping centre to get your hungover stuff. Its not that much of a walk into town and easy to access for the Oktoberfest venue and the pubs....

Great stay!

Had a very nice weekend stay in this HI property. The hotel is very well connected both to the airport and downtown - very easy no change public transport ride lasting 30 mins both ways. Room was also very nice and spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast was rich with plenty of choices in both savory and sweet options. Gym could have been a bit richer in choice of machines though. Overall, would definitely stay again....

Booker Beware

I would give them a zero if possible. I booked at this location and canceled a week before my trip. The verbiage on the cancelation is very confusing. Where I thought the hotel was taking 10% of the deposit for cancellation, come to find out, they took 90%. In addition to the excessive fees, I had to ask the location for my pathetic refund. What a rip off. I cancelled my IHG membership. If you have other options, don...

This hotel provided me with a positive experience for the following reasons:
1) The location was excellent. It was easily accessible via direct subway access from the airport using either the S8 or S1 subway lines. The tram 19 also goes directly to the old city and stops very close to the hotel. There is also a very practical mall right beside the hotel with 2 supermarkets inside where you can get cheap foods.
