e stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Arabella during a very busy and hectic Oktoberfest, and it turned out to be one of our better Munich hotel experiences.

Joke of a room

Absolute joke of a room. Arrived late and were upgraded to a deluxe room. Genuinely wished we hadnt been.
The room looked like it hasnt been refurbished since the 1970s (see photos). Ive stayed in many Bavarian Style rooms in Munich, but they were all well maintained and had modern accessories like power points. Unlike this museum piece.

AVOID as wheelchair user

As a wheelchair user I booked this hotel. Despite their advertising, they are not wheelchair accessible at all. Starting with the lift, if not broken, not wide enough to get in with a standard wheelchair. The door to the room, again not wide enough to get into the room. I had to take the wheels off my chair to even stand a chance and rely on my partner to carry me into the room. AVOID if you can despite their email ...

Great value. The hotel is spacious, lovely decor, excellent room and facilities. The breakfast was plentiful and of good variety and quality. We were greeted by Noskova who was efficient, helpful and extremely friendly, as were all the reception staff members. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel while we visited the City. I had a wonderful stay at the Leonardo Hotel Munich Arabellapark! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, making the check-in process smooth and effortless.
